Christmas bliss <3

A sweet tip as a christmas present for you people!

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

How to have a blissful christmas

1. Prepare tasty cookies and milk (personally preferred cold)
2. Place it under your Christmas tree.
3. Play happy Christmas Carol.
3. Hide yourself at somewhere where you can see the cookies and milk.
4. Wait for Santa to appear.
5. SABOTAGE Santa once he appears!!! >:D

* If Santa happens to forget to pay you a visit, just call up some friends and finish the cookies and milk and sing along with the christmas carol.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I still think its very cute that Santa easily falls for this simple milk and cookie trap.

Don't you think the simpler things get the more blissful it feels????

Merry Christmas people!! :D

Island

I think an island would make a good hideout place when you need a break from whatever that bothers you.

Especially if the island is filled with all your favourite things, and your favourite songs playing all day long, and you also get to eat tuna fishes everyday! :d

Clutter

And so, the lambs threaten Mary that if she doesn't let them follow her to school they will clutter up the field and go crazy.

Lambs are just so cute :D

Memoriess

Every time I see parents carrying their little people in their arms makes me think it feels so good to be so small and cute and people can carry us around everywhere.

Only thing is that I was too young to notice how sweet it is being carried by my mother that time.

It feels so awesomely warm looking at kids being carried by their parents :D
Parents must have feel good too carrying that soft smooth little guy in their arms.

Shoot, my maternity instinct is kicking in : |

Always miss the time when we're so small and portable that time :)

Just in case,
this is done by pen, colour pencils and the floating little hearts by photoshop :)

I vectored a rabbit today :D

I have been dragging handles in Illustrator since I've came here.
And I am really sick of doing vector graphics.

One of our elements was a rabbit.
I like fluffy rabbit. But I'm lazy to drag wiggly lines therefore I've only made partial of it.
And I am lazy to make a pair of foot for the creature, so I thought I will leave it limbless (easier to animate too).

And the bunny turned out looking funny.
It's so amazing that it ended up looking like a rabbit with many legs.

Very funny how things turn out sometimes. x>

Milk sailing

I love milk.

Especially when it's served during breakfast.
It is just sooo.. appropriate.

It would be even better when its served with bread spread with one inch thickness of butter.
Together with two half boiled egg would be perfect.

Its simple, plain and awesomely healthy.

Its really nothing but I really feel blissful with light breakfast like this.

And ooh this week's IF is about sail.
Since I'm thinking about my ideal breakfast right now,
I am also thinking about sailing in a milk sea would be pretty sweet too :D

Oh and cereal with milk is also very nice :D
Milk just taste so heavenly during the day X>

Poof

I feel like sometimes my brain will just go missing and halt all my thinking.

I can totally blank myself out and just stare into the air, without any thoughts running in my head.

I don't know how this happens, seriously : |

Well anyway it's this week's Illustration Friday theme,
and i can't think of any other things than thinking how to stop losing my brain all of a sudden.

Does this happens to you too???

Canned

edit: made my jeans more obvious now.

CANNED :D

Well don't ask me what so jolly about being canned.
Don't even know what does canned really mean.

Anyway I like it because it is random :D
And it is the theme for this week's illustration friday.
A nice place to go when you ran out of idea to doodle :D

And the shape of a can is also very nice to look at.
Highly addictive nice to look at :)

Do you understand?

Sometimes when I couldn't fully understand a person or vice versa, I would desperately wanted to eat up Matt Parkman's brain and get his ability. Only thing is that i prefer to use my eyes to read people's thought rather than listening to it.

Whether it is because of the ability of conveying and decoding verbal messages or language barrier,
when you cant understand a person clearly (or vice versa) is seriously frustrating.
Not only you but both party will get frustrated.

How nice if there is any device, machine, whatever that can straight away portrays what is in one's mind.
Then everything can be conveyed exactly according to how you think then there will be no miscommunication or misunderstanding anymore.

People understand you, you understand people,
how nice would that be :D

Sometimes its just so hard to tell what is in our mind don't you think?
It would be so easy if we can just show our thoughts like that :D

Now hopes this post inspires someone out there to invent a mind reading machine or some sort.

Rainbow and gold

One of the elements I was doing today was a rainbow.
And I remember the tale about there is a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow.

I like the way it sounds.
It just sounds so ridiculously sweeeeeet :D

I think keeping gold in a pot is very cute. Especially golden bars.
Or maybe it is the phrase "pot-of-gold" just sounds so... soo.... lovely.
Or maybe its just me liking with the pronunciation of "pot".
Or maybe it is a combination of all the nice things like rainbow, gold and pots thats why.

The whole idea just sounds so sweet!!

Don't you love the idea that there is a pot of gold at the other end of the rainbow too?? :D

Time in Busan

Is it only Busan or the time in every other places just passes as fast as the blink of an eye?

Kinda scary.

Addiction

Near our campus they have this one stall selling deep fried octopus, egg, kimbap(some sort of sushi), sweet potato, dumplings, green chilli, and some unknown edible things. And they serve Korean spicy rice cake and some fish cake soup too.

Their stall concept is almost like our malaysia's Lok-lok where you can stand and pick whatever you want to eat. We call this Busan Lok-lok, Odeng stall.

And you're ought to dip the all those crispy deep fried food especially the ojingo(fried octopus) into the spicilicious rice cake sauce.

And you complete your eating by drinking their soup, which is free so you can drink until your bladder burst :D

AND THIS WHOLE THING GOT RONG AND I ADDICTED TO IT.

We tried to control but we always find ourselves standing in front that stall before we even realize *shrugs*

Edition

Just to clarify if you ever wonder how changing to the new dorm has affected our life for the next 3 months.

*Still feeling very cozy right now*

Coziness

We have been making noise of moving to the new dorm since last few weeks, and finally,
I would like to boast about the dorm that we have just moved in a moment ago.

It is super cozy :D
And i can reach all my places in less than 8 steps.
And less than 10 steps to reach our small but pretty attached bathroom.

What is even more delightful is that from now on our daily working route distance has been cut half since we have moved down from the so-called hill top. Wuhu!

Ehehehehehehehehehhehehe.

Korean Caramel

Besides caramel popcorn, I never had good impression with anything to do with caramel due to its outrageous sweetness.

It must be destiny.

For some reason today I had this sudden crave for ice cream, and I picked one which I thought it was chocolate coated at first and it turned out to be caramel coated actually.

And my taste buds LOVE it.

I hereby officially declare that this will be my favorite korean ice cream, so far :)

*The character has a nose this time to show the exact spot of the pimple.

I would've enjoyed it more if i don't have breakout at the most painful spot of the face.

Rain >: |

Saturday!
which also means go out day :D

The weather forecast shows raining, we equipped ourselves with a pretty umbrella. Me and Rong both sharing one pretty umbrella :)

In the end we found out umbrella can't function effectively when strong wind comes.

Seriously we almost broke our cute brown with turquoise polka dots umbrella like the picture above.

In the end we still have to run in the rain like refugees, looking for shaded area, shifting from 1 shaded area to another, to reach our room (check the route we had to go through here) with the cute umbrella hanging on Rong's arm.

Who still think raining is nice!?

First week

We were given 1 week do a research of Fukuoka and Busan attraction because they are having some sort of collaboration thing going on.

1 week of research.
1 week of web browsing.
1 week of facing the almost-the-same tourism articles.

Ethan has been showing almost the same screen for the last few days.

So these are the things I've got (and remember) from my very first week of work.

Oh and i left out one more, super tired looking face.

I think I know Fukuoka much better than Kuala Lumpur already.

Our deadly routine

The image above shows our physical status for every different period of our normal interning days. Normal as in not including those days with after-dinner-activities.

I just want to rant its very tiring walking up and down those friggin killing slopes D:

But i'm grateful that the weather is pretty fine. Windy days everyday :)

I'll rant again when summer comes.

Our very first intern day

Yay officially going to work in Dongseo University Digital Content lab :D

So we met all our labmates, got our own place, and introduced ourselves to the other labmates. Then the manager told us : Today , free study okay :D a.k.a nothing for you all to do yet.

So I spent the whole working hours by browsing video clips, listening catchy tunes, doodling with Ethan

and trying to understand the cute Korean English

and trying hard to remember all my labmates name. And yeah they have interesting hairstyles :D

To sum it all out, still heaven to us :)

I think it would be more fun if we can speak fluent korean. Koreans look like fun people :D

Weeee~ work!

Finally!
Got to meet with Professor Kim today! :D
He introduced us to Professor Han which is incharge of the special effects and motion graphics division.
We know what we are going to do at last!

Great great great! We are joining their team in producing an opening title for the Busan Film Festival! It's a very big event for the Koreans. They are providing some classes for us too like, 3D modeling class, Matte Painting class, texturing class!

Exciting! :D

Here is one photo we managed to snap with the kind Professors :>

Going to start working on Monday~

Rain

Today we were all well dressed up nicely to be interviewed by the professor. But due to some unforeseen circumstances, it was canceled and delayed to the next day.

Mood killed :(

Later evening we wanted to go out play.
Then we had this sudden mood to go Homeplus(aka Tesco) and have some fun time shopping for groceries/pretty stickers.

When we was half way walking down the hill, it started to drizzle.
And we had to U-turn.
Plan canceled.
Mood killed twice D:

And I'm here to blog how irritating Pusan raining season can be.

Raining season in Pusan = Rain falls ANYTIME without any signs of warning.

Like how??

It's like this :-
At 3.50pm you think that the weather in Pusan is very nice then later at 3.51pm it starts drizzling (and the sky is still looking darn fine) and it gets heavier and you know you're going to reach the room all wet by 4.05pm.

That's why we had to U-turn when it started to drizzle.
Annoying right :(

And the weather forecast says that tomorrow will be a rainy day.
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARR D:

안옝하세요!

An Yong Ha Sae Yo!
The most basic korean that we all know.
Which means hi. :D
And this is the third day we are in the land of Pusan. And i am awfully in love of the current weather here, even its chilling, but yeah i love it :> The seniors here said that now is the time of the changing season (from spring to summer) thats why the weather is very cold now. After 1 week or so, then its gonna be summer, which is going to be like malaysia's weather : | Bummer.

Well last few days the seniors showed us the town around our campus, and i must say, i am feeling one of a kind. Our DongSeo University is located on the hill so everything is like sloppy here. The roads, the shop lots, everything is slanted. And we heard that the all the girls here have very strong muscular legs : |which doesn't sound like a sweet thing to me.

There are many students and teenagers walking on the small sloppy roads, and its nice to see them dressed up casually(but nice) walking and talking loudly to their friends. Yes they talk loud. And no one cares actually.

And the shops here, out of 10 shops 8 of them are restaurants. And I've asked the senior are all the restaurant serving the same food, and she said they are more likely the same. Some might have some specialty but still, its almost the same. So I guess the Koreans here they need a lot of food to give them energy to walk sloppy hilly roads?

Oh and talk about food, they are served in BIG PORTION(doesn't apply to the photo shown). Well its big to me at least. And korean food must be spicy and sour. Spicy is fine to me but sour... not everything will taste good in sour you see. I guess my taste buds will take some time to get used to the food here.

What else that I find it interesting in korea so far??
The Tesco here, is seriously nice to shop.
Yes you see it right. They have Tesco here. The housewives favourite place. The blue and red mall. And we girls spent almost 4 hours there. And 2 hours from that were spent on choosing cute stickers. YES cute pretty stickers even in Tesco. Can you imagine how cute the stickers will be in those high fashion shopping district outside Pusan!?

Just think of all the pretty things we are going to find out later just makes me high.

So what I've got for myself today??

A cute classic mickey mouse schedule book.
Milk
Vaseline
New blog
Good mood

Oh yeah :)

And 1st day of work tomorrow! :-S
