Korean Caramel

Besides caramel popcorn, I never had good impression with anything to do with caramel due to its outrageous sweetness.

It must be destiny.

For some reason today I had this sudden crave for ice cream, and I picked one which I thought it was chocolate coated at first and it turned out to be caramel coated actually.

And my taste buds LOVE it.

I hereby officially declare that this will be my favorite korean ice cream, so far :)

*The character has a nose this time to show the exact spot of the pimple.

I would've enjoyed it more if i don't have breakout at the most painful spot of the face.

Rain >: |

Saturday!
which also means go out day :D

The weather forecast shows raining, we equipped ourselves with a pretty umbrella. Me and Rong both sharing one pretty umbrella :)

In the end we found out umbrella can't function effectively when strong wind comes.

Seriously we almost broke our cute brown with turquoise polka dots umbrella like the picture above.

In the end we still have to run in the rain like refugees, looking for shaded area, shifting from 1 shaded area to another, to reach our room (check the route we had to go through here) with the cute umbrella hanging on Rong's arm.

Who still think raining is nice!?

First week

We were given 1 week do a research of Fukuoka and Busan attraction because they are having some sort of collaboration thing going on.

1 week of research.
1 week of web browsing.
1 week of facing the almost-the-same tourism articles.

Ethan has been showing almost the same screen for the last few days.

So these are the things I've got (and remember) from my very first week of work.

Oh and i left out one more, super tired looking face.

I think I know Fukuoka much better than Kuala Lumpur already.

Our deadly routine

The image above shows our physical status for every different period of our normal interning days. Normal as in not including those days with after-dinner-activities.

I just want to rant its very tiring walking up and down those friggin killing slopes D:

But i'm grateful that the weather is pretty fine. Windy days everyday :)

I'll rant again when summer comes.

Our very first intern day

Yay officially going to work in Dongseo University Digital Content lab :D

So we met all our labmates, got our own place, and introduced ourselves to the other labmates. Then the manager told us : Today , free study okay :D a.k.a nothing for you all to do yet.

So I spent the whole working hours by browsing video clips, listening catchy tunes, doodling with Ethan

and trying to understand the cute Korean English

and trying hard to remember all my labmates name. And yeah they have interesting hairstyles :D

To sum it all out, still heaven to us :)

I think it would be more fun if we can speak fluent korean. Koreans look like fun people :D

Rain

Today we were all well dressed up nicely to be interviewed by the professor. But due to some unforeseen circumstances, it was canceled and delayed to the next day.

Mood killed :(

Later evening we wanted to go out play.
Then we had this sudden mood to go Homeplus(aka Tesco) and have some fun time shopping for groceries/pretty stickers.

When we was half way walking down the hill, it started to drizzle.
And we had to U-turn.
Plan canceled.
Mood killed twice D:

And I'm here to blog how irritating Pusan raining season can be.

Raining season in Pusan = Rain falls ANYTIME without any signs of warning.

Like how??

It's like this :-
At 3.50pm you think that the weather in Pusan is very nice then later at 3.51pm it starts drizzling (and the sky is still looking darn fine) and it gets heavier and you know you're going to reach the room all wet by 4.05pm.

That's why we had to U-turn when it started to drizzle.
Annoying right :(

And the weather forecast says that tomorrow will be a rainy day.
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARR D:

안옝하세요!

An Yong Ha Sae Yo!
The most basic korean that we all know.
Which means hi. :D
And this is the third day we are in the land of Pusan. And i am awfully in love of the current weather here, even its chilling, but yeah i love it :> The seniors here said that now is the time of the changing season (from spring to summer) thats why the weather is very cold now. After 1 week or so, then its gonna be summer, which is going to be like malaysia's weather : | Bummer.

Well last few days the seniors showed us the town around our campus, and i must say, i am feeling one of a kind. Our DongSeo University is located on the hill so everything is like sloppy here. The roads, the shop lots, everything is slanted. And we heard that the all the girls here have very strong muscular legs : |which doesn't sound like a sweet thing to me.

There are many students and teenagers walking on the small sloppy roads, and its nice to see them dressed up casually(but nice) walking and talking loudly to their friends. Yes they talk loud. And no one cares actually.

And the shops here, out of 10 shops 8 of them are restaurants. And I've asked the senior are all the restaurant serving the same food, and she said they are more likely the same. Some might have some specialty but still, its almost the same. So I guess the Koreans here they need a lot of food to give them energy to walk sloppy hilly roads?

Oh and talk about food, they are served in BIG PORTION(doesn't apply to the photo shown). Well its big to me at least. And korean food must be spicy and sour. Spicy is fine to me but sour... not everything will taste good in sour you see. I guess my taste buds will take some time to get used to the food here.

What else that I find it interesting in korea so far??
The Tesco here, is seriously nice to shop.
Yes you see it right. They have Tesco here. The housewives favourite place. The blue and red mall. And we girls spent almost 4 hours there. And 2 hours from that were spent on choosing cute stickers. YES cute pretty stickers even in Tesco. Can you imagine how cute the stickers will be in those high fashion shopping district outside Pusan!?

Just think of all the pretty things we are going to find out later just makes me high.

So what I've got for myself today??

A cute classic mickey mouse schedule book.
Milk
Vaseline
New blog
Good mood

Oh yeah :)

And 1st day of work tomorrow! :-S
